Elden Ring - Shadow of the Erdtree_06

FromSoftware has released a new patch for Elden Ring, and while it applies to the game as a whole, it effectively nerfs the final boss of Shadow of the Erdtree. First, their starting action pattern has changed, and some attacks have been “adjusted.”

Other attacks now deal reduced damage and stamina damage while the visibility of some effects is improved. The range of non-weapon attacks has also been decreased. Sure, the expansion launched in June and many players may have beaten it, but better late than never.

The patch also includes balance adjustments and changes, including another nerf to Backhand Blades in PvP. Dual-wield spear attacks and the Pata have also seen their damage reduced. Furthermore, the headshot damage animation occurring against other players with the Spread Crossbow has been fixed.

Check out some of the patch notes below. Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree is available for Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S. You can read our review, where we scored it a 10 out of 10.
