FromSoftware and Bandai Namco announced last month that Elden Ring would be coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 at some point later this year in the form of Elden Ring Tarnished Edition. Now, further details have been revealed on what the open world action RPG’s Switch 2 version will bring with it.

Reported by Famitsu, at the recently held FromSoftware Games Event in Tokyo, the developer revealed that on the Nintendo Switch 2, Elden Ring will include two new classes that players will be able to pick between. The classes will be called Knight of Ides and Heavy Knight, but little else is known about them yet. In addition, players can also expect four new armou, weapon, and combat skill sets, as well as three new appearance customization options for your steed, Torrent.

All of this content will also be available on all other platforms, as you would imagine, through the separately downloadable DLC titled Tarnished Pack.

Elden Ring is currently available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It doesn’t yet have a specific release date on the Switch 2. The acclaimed action RPG has shipped over 30 million units worldwide.
