End of Abyss is one of those games you just know you’ll have a good time with, even if it scares the life out of you.
Section Nine Interactive has released a behind-the-scenes video where there’s new gameplay alongside messages from many of the game’s makers. They discuss their inspirations, challenges, and the experience they’ve had making this one as grim and gritty as it can be. Of course, you can expect to be on edge for much of it as this world isn’t going to be kind to players with weak nerves, and might even scare the more weathered among you. It isn’t a surprise from a team that has so many former Tarsier veterans (who worked on Little Nightmares 1 and 2).
If you missed the announcement, this one puts you in the shoes of Cel, an underground investigator sent to check out strange noises, whose search for answers quickly spirals into an adventure that pulls you deeper and deeper while leaving you wanting more. The video below is a great showcase, and we’re pretty excited for the October 1st release when End of Abyss becomes available for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
