Good timing, guys.

Enemy Front

Enemy Front, the CryEngine 3 fueled World War II shooter by CI games and Bandai Namco for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, has finally released today after a series of unexpected delays that saw it being pushed back from its initial projected release. And while it’s good news that the game is finally out, the bad news is it came out at the worst possible time, landing right in the middle of E3 week. So… yeah, anyone who was hoping for this game to spark a revival of World War II themed shooters in the market? That might not happen anymore, since this game is just likely to get lost in the rush of E3.

In addition to the game’s intense and engaging (and heavily marketed) single player campaign, there will also be a variety of multiplayer modes that will support up to 12 players online, although again, their success might be compromised by this game’s unfortunate release date.

Hopefully, I’m wrong and the game still manages to do well. From everything I have seen of it, it looks like a true work of passion.
