Epic Games: 4.4x 360s required to run the Samaritan demo at 720p (10x at 1080p)

Epic games has revealed the computation requirements to run the Samaritan demo at 720p and 1080p, and it looks like it just could be possible to run it in real-time next gen.

The info was revealed via Tim Sweeney’s DICE presentation and we have the complete video for you below courtesy of Gamespot.

The interesting thing to come out of this was the requirements, obviously. Doom in 1993 just required 10 MFLOPS, while the Samaritan demo @ 1080p requires 2.5 TFLOPS. Unfortunately the current consoles are way behind the curve with Xbox 360 at 0.25 TFLOPS.
