Epic is finally adding an achievements system to the Epic Games Store with an update next week. The company announced this in a recent blog post on its official website, wherein it also detailed the initial batch of games receiving support for the feature.

Rocket League, Hades, Pillars of Eternity, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, Zombie Army 4, and Alan Wake Remastered are a few of the games receiving achievements in next week’s update. Completing achievements will earn you XP, which of course should work in a similar vein to Xbox’s Gamerscore, with tiered Achievements similar to PlayStation’s Trophies. Epic will also be updating its developer tools for the job, which should help integrate these features quickly and easily.

Epic Games previously had achievements in the form of developer achievements, and these new Epic achievements will work alongside those, although Epic states that the new system will offer additional benefits to the player and developer.

Epic Games has also recently announced that its Easy Anti-Cheat system will be supported on Steam Deck.
