Solo dev Helder Pinto’s gorgeous Ghibli-esque cel-shaded exploration adventure game Europa has looked like an exciting prospect since it was unveiled last year, and now we know exactly when it’s coming. Thankfully, its release date is not too far away.
At Nintendo’s recent Indie World presentation, publisher Future Friends Games announced that Europe is launching on October 11. The same was announced with a new trailer, which also offered plenty of new gameplay footage.
The game is continuing to look visually gorgeous thanks to its stunning cel-shaded aesthetic, with the trailer showcasing a variety of different locations, from gorgeous lakes and rolling landscapes to underwater areas, gorgeous architecture, floating mountains, frigid landscapes, and more. Check out the trailer below for a look at what the game will look like.
Upon its launch in October, Europa will be available for Nintendo Switch and PC. A demo is available on both platforms.
