DriveClub will actually be supporting the SIXAXIS motion controls present within the PlayStation 4’s DualShock 4 controller, Evolution Studios has revealed. And probably pre-empting some gamer backlash from those that flinch at the very mention of motion controls, associating it with shoehorned and pointless control schemes that manage to impede many games, they said that the control scheme was going to surprise gamers.

“Yep, we already support motion controls. I think you’ll be surprised by it too.”

They also confirmed that the game is going to be fully 1080p native resolution constantly, and that the dynamic weather affects or graphics that the game shows off will not in any way affect the resolution output by the game negatively, which should come off as good news to any and all of you who really care about this, I guess.

DriveClub launches later this year on the PlayStation 4. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage.
