Ex Assassin’s Creed devs reveal new survival horror game

Called Outlast

Posted By | On 18th, Oct. 2012

Red Barrels- the indie studio based in Montreal- may be just an 8 man team, but it’s a very talented team. Sure, it hasn’t really released any game yet, but it consists of people who have worked on games like Prince of Persia, Assassin’s Creed and Splinter Cell: Conviction.

And now they have revealed their first game. It’s a survival horror game called Outlast, and it’s going to be first person, if the trailer’s anything to go by (it probably is).

The scary things in the game are probably going to be some super quick zombie thingies, but nothing’s really clear in the video right now. It does look intriguing, though.

Have a look above.

The game comes out Summer next year for the PC via Steam. Stay tuned.
