Developer Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment have unveiled a new game during Gamescom Opening Night Live 2023. Dubbed Expeditions: A MudRunner Game, the game follows in the footsteps of the MudRunner and SnowRunner games, focusing on the minute-to-minute traversal of various vehicles through harsh terrain.
Going by the trailer, the game will be getting quite a few new features when compared to its predecessors. Players will be able to make use of drones to scout out areas ahead of them. Players can also use tools like winches and anchors to traverse harsh landscapes, and even potentially scale mountains and cliffs. Players can also make use of metal detectors and echo sounders to explore different elements of the world around them.
The trailer for Expeditions: A MudRunner Game reveals that the game is slated for release in 2024, and will be coming to PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. Much like the previous games, it looks like Expeditions: A MudRunner Game will also feature a way to play co-op with friends.
