It looks mostly good, but there are still a few rough edges.

Codemasters finally makes the transition to the new consoles this summer, with the release of F1 2015 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. To leverage the extra power, Codemasters developed an all new engine to deliver greater visuals for the game; today, they released a new set of screenshots to show off what their new game and engine look like, and I have to say, barring a few rough elements (the pitstop screenshot in particular looks like it is something out of an early Xbox 360 game), it all seems to be coming together rather well.

F1 2015 follows last year’s F1 game, which was released in Fall, as the final game that Codemasters released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. That game as also released on PC, and fans got the promise of a title coming for the new generation consoles this year. It appears that that extra time has been put to good use.

F1 2015 will launch in July. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
