F1 2021 Climbs to No. 1 in Weekly UK Retail Charts

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD drops down to second place, while a PS5 restock results in sales boosts for several of its games.

The latest weekly charts for boxed video game sales in the UK are in, and though there have been no major new releases debuting in the charts, there have been some interesting developments nonetheless (via GamesIndustry). Last week, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD enjoyed an impressive debut, taking the top spot, while F1 2021 debuted in second place. This week, the two have swapped places, with Skyward Sword HD seeing a 74% drop in sales and F1 2021 seeing a 37% drop.

Interestingly enough, the PS5 saw another restock last week, which has resulted in a significant sales boost for several titles. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart has climbed up from No. 10 to No. 3 thanks to a 288% weekly sales surge, while fellow Insomniac Games title Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales has re-entered the top 10 at No. 6 thanks to a 242% boost. PS5 versions of multiplatform releases that are not in the top 10 have also seen sales boosts, including the likes of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Resident Evil Village, and Marvel’s Avengers

There’s also Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which, thanks to a heavily discounted retail price, climbs up to No. 11 following a 256% sales boost.
