Codemasters makes a wide variety of racing games, but the one series that it keeps going with new instalments year over year is, of course, F1. Traditionally, the company has released new yearly F1 instalments in the early months of the Summer, and sure enough, it looks like this year’s game is not far away from getting unveiled either.
That’s according to prominent leaker @billbil_kun on Twitter, who recently said that F1 23 is going to be announced by Codemasters and EA “less than a week from now”, and that it will release sometime between June 13 and June 20, with Standard and Deluxe Editions available for players to purchase. The leak was also accompanied by key art for the game. Check it out below.
Interestingly, Codemasters is also working on a new WRC game, and the same leaker has previously claimed that it, too, will be announced “very soon”. How close the announcements of both games will be remains to be seen, though either way, it looks like Codemasters is going to have a busy few weeks and months ahead.
