Developer Mediatonic has announced a collaboration with Sega to bring Sonic the Hedgehog to Fall Guys. Starting today, and up to August 15, Fall Guys will be hosting its Sonic’s Adventure event. Check out the trailer below.
As part of the Sonic’s Adventure event, Fall Guys is getting a new level called the Bean Hill Zone—a play on the traditional Sonic game opening level being titled Green Hill Zone.
The event-specific game mode, takin place in the new Bean Hill Zone map, revolves around collecting rings. Players have to race to collect as many rings as possible. Those who don’t get enough rings to qualify for the next round are eliminated. The map features many obstacles, including conveyor belts and log bridges.
Players who get 1000 points win the game. There are other rewards for lesser points as well. Here’s the full list:
- Sonic Nameplate – 200 points
- 200 Kudos – 400 points
- Sonic Pattern – 600 points
- 400 Kudos – 800 points
- Sonic Sneakers – 1000 points
Going along with the event are four new costumes that players can get. The costumes are based on Sonic, Super Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman.
