In Batman Arkham City, a code word is given to the undercover officers by Commissioner Gordon
Not many people picked up on this word and its origins, and it is understandable that the code word could only be understood by those who read the comics regularly. But for the benefit of the uninitiated, the code word “Sarah” is given to the undercover officers by Commissioner Gordon which is a reference to his wife Sarah Essen-Gordon who was shot to death by the Joker in Detective Comics #741.It is quite a cool reference to the comics and it goes to show you that the game and the comics are in the same time frame.
