Name something fun. Far Cry. Make it better. Add friends. Now make it better. Cooperative play in a large sandbox environment where players can rock up to a camp together and wreck shop. How’s that sound?
Rob and Nath from PlayStation access are doing exactly that right now in an effort to show you just how fun the Cooperative play in Far Cry 4 actually is. But what makes it different and better than the Far Cry 3 cooperative player mode?
In Far Cry 3, players were stuck inside missions that were specifically designed around the idea of cooperation amongst players, and it was dumb and nobody really like it. Far Cry 4 however takes the insanity of two individual players and packs it into the one game world. You and your friend can run around in the same map and cause absolute chaos together, or go separate ways and just fart about.
It goes without saying that cooperative play in an open world sandbox like that found in Far Cry 4 is the perfect place for some of those “did you see that” moments that were lost at the turn of the gaming generation. What do you think? Let us know below.
