We all know that the Far Cry series isn’t afraid of doing strange things, nor are they shy when it comes to dipping their toes into strange waters. But this is a new level of oddity, even for Far Cry.
A map creator has been available in the Far Cry series for quite a while now and the developers aren’t afraid of admitting it’s never been very popular or easy to use, “We did our best, but it was such a big game. I am not ashamed to admit, it was difficult to find maps.” But this looks as though its set to change with maps being able to be chosen from a single click away from the main menu. But this is the weird bit I mentioned.
Gravity. Adjustment.
Let that sink in for just a moment. Adjustable gravity. You’ve probably experienced the insanity of a Far Cry gun battle for yourself, but imagine that exact same scenario with half, no, a quarter of earth’s gravitational pull! That truck you once flipped with a mine will no longer roll over and explode, it will take off on the axis you blow it and soar in that direction. Which is all sorts of awesome. Just…just give me this now.
