Far Cry 5 New Trailers Confirm Game Takes Place In Hope County, Montana, Full Reveal Coming May 26

Four new videos welcome you to Hope County.

Ubisoft dropped a bunch of brand new trailers for Far Cry 5 out of nowhere today- they’re not actually as much of trailers as much as they is a really short teaser video. You can check them out for yourself below- but they seem to confirm the Montana setting that has been discussed before, welcoming players to ‘Hope County.’ It is unclear whether the game is going full western like Red Dead Redemption, as was rumored, but there seem to be enough indications that it may be in the videos.

The videos also confirm that the full reveal for the game will happen this Friday, on May 26- so we should have more specifics on the game then. Presumably, the game is due for a release later this year, and we’ll know more about it at E3 next month.

The videos also seem to confirm that Sony will have the branding and marketing deal for Far Cry. Far Cry 5 will be releasing at some point this year on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. We will have more details on the game soon, so stay tuned to GamingBolt for more coverage and information.
