Far Cry Primal Mega Guide: Cheats, Crafting, Unlimited Resources, Collectibles And More

Far Cry Primal is now available and it’s surprisingly an excellent game. Set in an pre-historic era, the game features a vast open world with a ton of missions and collectibles to find. Using this guide you will be able to find all collectibles such as Spirit Totems, Cave Paintings, Wenja Bracelet, Izila Mask and Daysha Hand, build your village, upgrade your hut, find weapon resources, craft items, ugrade your skills, and know about unlimited and infinite resource cheats, locations of animal which you can tame, and videos for some of the achievements and trophies in the game.

Collectibles And Locations Guide:

Spirit Totems, Cave Paintings, Wenja Bracelet, Izila Mask and Daysha Hand:

There are 184 collectibles in the game which is further divided into: Spirit Totem – 12, Cave Paintings – 22, Wenja Bracelet – 25, Izila Mask – 25 and Daysha Hand – 100.

Building Your Village And Hut Upgrades:

Takkar’s Cave:

1st Upgrade: You will need: Alder Wood x 4, Slate x 3, Reeds x 2 and Goat Skin x 10. You will be rewarded with Sting Bomb, 1500 XP, Survival Skills, Bow Upgrade and Club Upgrade.

2nd Upgrade: You will need: Alder Wood x 35 Slate x 25 Reeds x 10 Badger Skin x 4 Population 40. You will be rewarded with 3000 XP.

Wogah’s Hut:

1st Upgrade: You will need: Alder Wood x3 Slate x3 Reeds x3 Jaguar Skin x2. You will be rewarded with Crafting Skills, Craftable packs, Belts, Trap and Berserk Shard along with 1500 XP.

2nd Upgrade: You will need: North Cedar x20 North Black Rock x15 North Clay x10 Bear Skin x3 Population 40. You will be rewarded with Bomb Bag and 3000 XP.

Tensay Hut:

1st Upgrade: You will need: Alder Wood x 2 Slate x 19 Reeds x 2 Wolf Skin x 4. You will be rewarded with Unlock Tensay Mission, Shaman Skills and 1500 XP.

2nd Upgrade: You will need: Alder Wood x 38 Slate x 15 Reeds x 16 Rare Lion Skin x 1 Population 40. You will be rewarded with 300 XP.

Dah’s Hut:

1st Upgrade: You will need: North Cedar x15 North Black Rock x15 North Clay x15 Rare Dhole Skin x1 Population x40. You will be rewarded with Skills and 1500 XP.

2nd Upgrade: You will need: North Cedar x35 North Black Rock x25 North Clay x20 Rare Rhino Skin x1 Population x50. You will be rewarded with Unlock Dah’s Quest and 3000 XP.

Roshani’s Hut:

1st Upgrade: You will need: South Maple x25 South Stone x20 South Rock Dust x15 Rare Elk Skin x2 Population x40. You will be rewarded with Izila Skills and 1500 XP.

2nd Upgrade: You will need: South Maple x50 South Stone x40 South Rock Dust x30 Rare Bitefish Skin x2 Population x50. You will be rewarded with 3000 XP.

Sayla’s Hut:

1st Upgrade: You will need: Alder Wood x4 Slate x3 Reeds x2 Dear Skin x2. You will be rewarded with Mission for Sayla, Gatherer Skills, Scent Camouflage, Fireproof and Speed Boost Recipes.

2nd Upgrade: You will need: Alder Wood x35 Slate x20 Reeds x20 Mammoth Skin x4 Population 40. You will be rewarded with Full Health, Food Recipes, Unlimited Boost, Food Recipes, Rare items in Reward Stash and 3000 XP.

Jaymas Hut:

1st Upgrade: You will need: Alder Wood x5 Slate x4 Reeds x3 Brown Bear Skin x1. You will be rewarded with Hunter Skills, Sling Long Row and 1500 XP.

2nd Upgrade: You will need: Maple x45 South Rock x30 South Rock Dust x15 Rare Dear Skin x2 Population 40. You will be rewarded with 3000 XP.

Karoosh’s Hut:

1st Upgrade: You will need: Alder Wood x4 Slate x5 Reeds x2 Wolf Skin x4. You will be rewarded with Warrior Skills, Two Handed Club, Winter Clothing and 1500 XP.

2nd Upgrade: You will need: North Cedar x30 North Black Rock x35 North Clay x20 Stripe Wolf Skin x1 Population x40. You will be rewarded with 3000 XP.

Weapon Resources Guide:

Bone: Ideally the game should have allowed you to retrieve bone from every dead animal but you can only find this from bears, sabertooths and mammoths. You can used this to craft Kapala Shard and Blood Shasti.

Animal Fat: This can be found from all animals and it can be used for crafting fire bomb.

Hardwood: Found across the land of Oros and can be used to craft traps, spears, arroes and clubs. Right at the start of the game, you will able to craft your bow using Hardwood.

Animal hide: Again, this can be found from all animals that you hunt and you can craft sting bomb and powerful spears.

Flint: Look out for rocks. You will most likely find them on them. You can use it to craft club and spears.

Bee Cluster: With a name like that you should know where to find these, right? Look for bee hives. And where do you find bee hives? Look for bears. You can craft sting bombs using this.

Clay Pot: Found from dead enemy bodies and can be used to craft fire and berserk bombs.

Crafting Guide:

Using the guide below you will be able to craft different weapons, bags and clothing.

Sling: Once you build Jayma’s hut, you will be able to craft this. You would need South Maple x 4, South Stone x 2 and Animal Hide x8.

Pack: There are two upgrade paths. The first can be unlocked by building Wogah’s Hut and Acquire Upgrade 1. The crafting requirements are Goat Skin x 2 and Tapir Skin X 3 respectively.

Hunter Belt: There are three upgrade paths. The first will be unlocked by building Wogah’s Hut, the next two will be unlocked automatically after unlocking the previous ones. The crafting requirements are: Rare White Wolf Skin x 2, Mammoth Skin x 3 and Rare Black Jaguar Skin x 2.

Throwing Shard Belt: There are four upgrade paths. The crafting requirements  areGoat Skin x 3, Badger Skin x 3, Monkey Skin x 4 and Sabretooth Tiger Skin x 4.

Winter Clothing: Two upgrade paths. The first one will be unlocked by building Karoosh’s Hut and the second one will get unlocked automatically. The crafting requirements are Wolf Skin x 4 and (Rare White Wolf Skin x 2 and Rare White Yak Skin x 2).

Bow: You will unlock the first upgrade very early on the game. The second upgrade can be achieved by building Takkar’s Cave. For the second upgrade, you would need the following crafting materials: South Stone x 6 and South Rock Dust x 8.

Long Bow: You will unlock this by building Jayma’s Hut. Crafting materials required are: North Cedar x 14, North Black Rock x 12 and North Clay x 10.

Double Bow: You need to upgrade Jayma’s Hut to level 2. Crafting materials required are: Rare North Cedar x 5, Rare South Maple x 5 and Rare Reeds x 5.

Club: There are four upgrade paths for this. The first will be unlocked very early on in the game. The second one will be unlocked once you build Sayla’s and Tensay’s huts. The third upgrade will get unlocked after you build Takkar’s Cave.  The last upgrade will get automatically unlocked once you unlock the third one. You will then require Rare South Maple x 3 and Rare South Stone x 2 to complete the 4th upgrade.

Two Handed Club: There are two upgrade paths. The first one will get unlocked when you build Karoosh’s Hut. The second upgrade will open automatically when you unlock the first one. The crafting materials requires are (North Cedar x 8, Bone x 8) and (Rare North Cedar x 2, Blood of Oros x 2,  North Clay x 10) respectively.

Spear: There are five upgrade paths. The first will get unlocked during the early moments of the game. Further upgrades will get unlocked once you unlock the previous ones. The crafting materials required for each are: (Alder Wood x 4, Slate x 2, Reeds), (North Cedar x 6, Reeds x 6, Bone x 6) , (North Cedar x 12, North Black Rock x 8, North Clay x 6),  (South Maple x 10, Rare South Stone, South Stone x 10) and  (Rare South Maple x 3, Rare South Stone x 3) respectively.

Guts Bag: There are four upgrade paths. The crafting materials required are: Boar Skin x 2, Dhole Skin x 4, Yak Skin x 5 and Tall Elk Skin x 5 respectively.

Club Belt: There are four upgrades path here. The crafting materials required are: Dhole Skin x 3, Jaguar Skin x 3, Leopard Skin x 4 and Sabretooth Tiger Skin x 4.

Spear Belt: There are four upgrade paths. The crafting requirements are Wolf Skin x 3, Cave Lion Skin x 4, Bitefish Skin x 2 and Woolly Rhino Skin x 5.

Sting Bomb: Simply build Takkar’s Cave to unlock this. You would need (Animal Hide x 4 and Bee Cluster x 2)

Berserker Bomb: You need to take hold of the Big Darwa Fort and collect (Clay Pot x 6 and North Yellow Leaf x 12) to unlock this item.

Fire Bomb: You need to take hold of Izila Fire Screamer Fort and collect ( Clay Pot x 4, Animal Fat x 12) to unlock this item.

Stone Shard: There are two upgrade paths. The first will get unlocked by completing a story mission. The second will get unlocked automatically after acquiring the first upgrade. You will need (Blood of Oros x 3 and Animal Hide x 4) and (Rare South Stone x 4, Animal Hide x 8) respectively for the two upgrades.

Arrow Quiver: There are five upgrade paths. The crafting materials required are: Dhole Skin x 3, Feathers x 2, Brown Bear Skin x 4 and Rare Feathers x 4 respectively.

All Skill Upgrades:

There are a total of 80 skill upgrades in the game. You can check out all of them below.

Unlimited And Infinite Resources Cheat:

You can use the methods in the video below to farm unlimited and infinite resources in the game. Please note that we haven’t verified the methods.

All Animal Locations Which You Can Tame:

There are 17 animals which you can tame in the game. These include: Dhole, Rare Dhole, Wolf, White Wolf, Rare Striped Wolf, Jaguar, Rare Black Jaguar, Leopard, Cave Lion, Rare Black Lion, Badger, Brown Bear, Sabretooth Tiger, Cave Bear, Great Scar Bear, Bloodfang Sabretooth, and Snowblood Wolf.
