The inexplicable, unexpected, PC gaming sensation, Farming Simulator, is going to be coming to consoles with the launch of Farming Simulator 15 for Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. No doubt publisher Focus Home Interactive will be looking to replicate the success of the game on PC and Mac, where it enjoys roughly a million active players.

The console port will be coming with an entire series of firsts (apart from the obvious ‘first’ of this being the debut of the series on something other than PC, that is)- for instance, this game will be the first time that multiplayer will be featured in the series, allowing for players to invite their friends and help them boost productivity on their farming tasks (so quite like farming F2P games on Facebook and mobile, except without the annoying timers, notifications, or microtransactions). The game will also feature a woodcutting mode.

It will launch on May 19. Stay tuned.
