FIFA 17

For now, EA are continuing to support the Xbox 360 and PS3 with FIFA– for now. However, these legacy consoles will not necessarily be getting everything that the new game has to offer on Xbox One and PS4- instead, EA have warned that players should not expect “all the same innovations and new modes” in the last gen versions of the game as in the current gen ones.

FIFA 17 on the PS3 and Xbox will come with squad building challenges, and gameplay enhancements such as new attacking techniques and set piece rewrites, new leagues, and the most authentic presentation in a FIFA game yet. It will also come with a litany of modes- although it isn’t clear if The Journey, which is the cinematic story mode powered by Frostbite Engine, will be making it through.

You can check out the full list of modes below. FIFA 17 launches on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC later this month.

  • FIFA Ultimate Team including Squad Building Challenges
  • Career Mode
  • Be a Pro Player
  • Be a Pro Goalkeeper
  • Tournament Mode
  • Women’s International Cup
  • Online Seasons
  • Online Friendlies
  • Skill Games
  • Kick-Off
  • Play Next Fixture
  • Practice Arena
