Fire Emblem Warriors Releasing October 20 in Europe

Plus, a brand new trailer for you to look at.

Nintendo and Koei Tecmo confirmed at Gamescom today that Fire Emblem Warriors, the upcoming Fire Emblem action game spin off, will be launching in Europe on October 20 (it has an earlier release date in Japan- launching there on September 28).

The game, which is a crossover that brings together Fire Emblem characters from multiple games in an original, non-canon story, also got a brand new trailer, which you can see for yourself below. I assume the original storyline will be fairly inducing for Fire Emblem fans to look into picking this one up- although the release date is problematic, because October 20 places it just a week before the launch of possibly the biggest exclusive of the Holiday season, Super Mario Odyssey, also on the Nintendo Switch.

A final release date has not yet been confirmed for North America- and we still have not seen any footage of the game running on the New 3DS (which it will also be hitting). Hopefully those two things are cleared up soon.
