Although Bungie promised that Destiny will be hitting 1080p on the Xbox One as well (making it one of the first major titles hitting the system that will hit the same resolution as its PlayStation 4 counterpart), the beta, due to go out later this week, is disappointingly limited to only 900p of resolution.
Well, just in case you were curious what Destiny will look like in 1080p on the Xbox One, here goes. the footage is above.
It looks extremely pretty, and though I haven’t exactly done a thorough or nuanced analysis yet, I think it looks more or less on par with the PlayStation 4 version (or at least, what I saw of that in the beta).
Destiny is the next game by Bungie, the developers of Halo, due out later this year. It will be hitting the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. No PC or Wii U versions have been announced yet.
