For Honor PC Version to Get Dedicated PC Servers on February 19

Better late than never, I guess...

For Honor Frost Wind Festival

Almost a full year after it originally launched, Ubisoft’s medieval multiplayer fighter/brawler/hack and slash action game will be getting the long requested dedicated servers at last- at least, for the PC version of the game. Ubisoft has confirmed today that that version of the game will be getting dedicated servers starting February 19.

Given the kind of game For Honor is, and just how precise it needs its inputs to be for multiplayer to be viable to any degree, these servers have been a long time coming. Even more so since For Honor has historically been a patchy experience online with its until now peer to peer multiplayer.

Of course, this is only for the PC version of the game for now- it is unknown when this will be available for Xbox One and PS4 players, or even if it will be available. Still, at the very least it is clear that Ubisoft is cognizant of its community’s demands, if nothing else.
