P.T. and Silent Hills may have been cancelled by Konami, but what they did was demonstrate and establish beyond all reasonable doubt that there is a market for psychological horror games. We’ve seen a fair few of those kinds of games in P.T.‘s wake- and now, we have another one to add to the list, and to look forward to.

Forbidden Forgiveness is a psychological horror game, which will allegedly emphasize player choice, opening and closing up entirely different parts of the game based on what the player chooses, and offering multiple endings, also based on those choices. Combat will be de-emphasized, in favor of puzzles and, well, stressful situations.

The game has been confirmed to be launching in Q4 2018- it will be launching on PC first, and it will then be getting a release on PS4 and Xbox One. You can check out a teaser for the game for yourself below.
