Former Infinity Ward Staff gets $42 million from Activision

There was once a conflict, a conflict between employees and the owner, and while the owner is now in a good position, the employees struggled to get paid properly for their work. Okay, bah. I don’t know the whole story – who’s right or wrong.

So according to a new report by Polygon, it seems that Activision has paid $42 these Infinity Ward staffers. Jason West and Vince Zampella, who now work at Respawn Entertainment and have signed a contract with their rival EA are asking for more money though.

“Although it is a meaningful payment it is only a small portion of what we are seeking in litigation,” said their attorney Bruce Isaacs.

“It is outrageous that they made us wait, they obviously knew they owed the money and this just shows that they breached the contract.”

“They are just as interested as they were before hand. We are seeking all kinds of bonuses per the contract. This payment relates to one particular game and one particular time period and one particular bonus,” he added.
