Adam Boyes was a very notable part of Sony’s American PlayStation team, as the head of developer relations and third-party publishing at Sony’s U.S. game division. That said, he had been itching to get back into games development for a while, which is why he left- and today, it was announced that he has joined independent developer Iron Galaxy as their CEO.

Iron Galaxy have a pretty notable history- they are working with Microsoft on the Windows 10 and Xbox One exclusive fighter Killer Instinct (and have been ever since the second season of the game); they developed the PS3 versions of Destiny and Bioshock. Less impressively, they also delivered the famously broken PC port of Batman: Arkham Knight. In addition to all of this, they have also released their own games, such as Videoball, Capsule Force, and Divekick.

Boyes is a passionate and talented individual- so let’s hope he can steer Iron Galaxy to even greater heights now that he is manning the ship.
