Epic Games’ Fortnite has been in development seemingly forever but it’s coming along. A new video has been released by the developer which features comments from the senior systems designer Cameron Winston and various community managers. Check it out above but make a cup of coffee first – it’s roughly 60 minutes long and provides tons of details.

As a sort of Minecraft meets zombie survival horror title (developed on Unreal Engine 4), Fortnite sees players working to survive against waves of hungry undead. You’ll construct traps and barricades during the day and defend yourselves during the night. It should be noted that all gameplay footage still isn’t final. The game itself is in closed alpha state so it may still be a while before we see the final version of Fortnite.

Regardless, the premise is pretty intriguing. What are your thoughts on Fortnite and its various knick-knacks and tools? Let us know in the comments.
