Surgeon Simulator made waves when it first hit the scene on PC, thanks to its hilariously inaccurate (and completely professionally unrepresentative… I hope) depictions of surgery and the operation table, and the procedures associated with them. But the developers, like any good artists, aren’t just content to coast on their successes, and the want to move on and craft something new, hopefully something equally compelling. And they have! And what they have given us is Twelve A Dozen, which is… a math game?
It’s a math based puzzle platformer, coming to iPad, which finds the player playing a girl called Twelve, in a game that is actually mind bogglingly abstract and mathematical in its approach. And yet somehow actually made for kids.
“Every time we showed one of our games to people from various walks of life, we heard the same thing, ‘How can I get these for my kid?'” said CEO Joel Klein on the publisher’s recent blog post. “So we decided to see if people are as crazy about these games as we are. If the commercial launch of Twelve a Dozen is well received, we’d want to consider making some of our other games available to consumers as well.”
Well, good luck to you guys. May your insanity never subside.
