Frostpunk 2 Beta Set for April 15-22

Frostpunk fans have been waiting for a sequel to the post-apocalyptic city builder for a while, and it’s finally almost here. Developer 11 bit studios announced last month that Frostpunk 2 would be releasing for PC in July, and now, the dates for its pre-launch beta have also been confirmed.

Those who pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition will get access to Frostpunk 2’s beta next week, on April 15, 11 bit studios has announced. The beta will run until April 22, and will allow players to get a taste of its sandbox mode, dubbed Utopia Builder Preview. The developer also notes that the beta will only be playable in English and Simplified Chinese.

Frosptunk 2 is set to launch in full for PC on July 25, and will also be available via PC Game Pass day one. PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions are also in the works, but 11 bit studios has yet to announce a release date.
