The extremely fast and fluid space shooter, Futuridium EP Deluxe, was today announced for the PlayStation 4 on the PlayStation Blog. The announcement also confirmed that the title would be Cross Buy with the PS Vita version (meaning if you buy it for the Vita, you automatically get access to the PS4 version, and vice versa).
For those of you who aren’t in the know, uturidium EP Deluxe is a fast old school 3D space shooter inspired mainly by the 8bit classic Uridium, with an added hint of Zaxxon, all shaken up in low poly 3D graphics. So, precisely the kind of game you want to play on your brand new $400 PS4.Anyway, there is some nice graphical wizardry going on here- it’s all topped by a ton of full screen post processing effects and served ice cold for your cube blasting pleasure.
The PlayStation 4 version gets a laundry list of features that makes it the definitive way to play the game. These include:
- 1080p with glorious 60fps action
- Even more dazzling graphical effects thanks to the added PS4 power
- Leaderboards shared with the PSVita version
- Promised ‘cool’ DualShock 4 features
- Full sharing support so you can stream your best run
- Cross Buy
So it sounds like a great deal, and if you have both the Vita and the PS4, you should benefit the most.
