Remember when I said anything Naughty Dog touches turns to gold? Well The Last of Us is just another perfect example of that. There’s nothing too special about the trailer other than that you get a bit of story and glimpses of what the video game will offer but it’s impossible not to have interest for The Last of Us after watching it. The Last of Us takes place in the near future when players find themselves in a post-apocalyptic world where humans can turn into zombie-like creatures all of which originated from a strange fungus.
The story starts off with our two main characters, Joel and Ellie. Joel is a middle aged man who not only knows his way around the threatening environment but is also pretty handy with a weapon. Early into the game Joel makes an unwillingly promise and deal to deliver this girl known as Ellie to a certain location. Throughout the journey we learn more about Joel and Ellie along with some pretty massive twists and turns. Again, if you haven’t played The Last of Us, what are you waiting for?
