With the launch of Fallout 4, Star Wars: Battlefront, Need for Speed, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3, Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, Halo 5: Guardians, and Rise of the Tomb Raider, this holiday season is probably going to be one of the biggest that this industry has seen in years. Looks like North American video games retailer GameStop seems to think so too, because it is now going to be hiring as many as 28,000 seasonal employees to help cope with the holiday rush.

So if you have some time on your hands, part time work at GameStop for a while won’t hurt… though of course, working at a retail store in the holiday season is literal hell, and I don’t know why you would subject yourself to that for any amount of money.

Visit GameStop’s careers page for more details about job descriptions, qualifications, and the application process. The jobs will start October 18 and last through January 8- just so we are clear, these will be seasonal jobs, so don’t go expecting to make a career out of them or anything.
