GameStop Opens Pre-Orders For Nintendo Switch In Europe

Couldn't have waited just one more week, huh guys?

Posted By | On 04th, Jan. 2017

Pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch are presumably set to officially open next week, after Nintendo have their conference revealing and detailing their brand new system, but it looks like some people just couldn’t wait that long- GameStop have already opened pre-orders for the system in Europe (via NeoGAF), at least on their website.

The price listed for the Switch is currently 399,98€, but GameStop specifically note that this is a placeholder price, and the final price will come down after announcement- so no, don’t take this as indication that the Switch will be priced that freakishly high, or anything. If it is, at that point it would deserve to fail, honestly.

Nintendo’s Switch is due to come out worldwide in March 2017. We will learn more about the system next week, on January 12 and January 13 (depending on where in the world you are), including its final specs, support, launch lineup, price, and exact launch date.
