Gearbox: Borderlands 2 will be uncut worldwide

Posted By | On 01st, Aug. 2012

Borderlands 2 features a lot of gore it seems, but Gearbox Software isn’t cutting out any content from the game for specific countries. Although, the cell shaded visual style of the game makes the violence less visceral when it comes to depicting chaos and destruction. Or I simply don’t remember because I’ve played Borderlands ages ago, and it may be time for a new playthrough!

“We’re happy to announce that Borderlands 2 will be uncut all over the world,” read Gearbox Software’s blog.

“Some fans will remember that the first Borderlands game was a bit toned down in certain territories compared to the rest of the world. No longer! Do you live in Germany? Australia? Bandits will be just as likely to explode into bloody chunks of awesomeness as they will be in Canada or England (which is to say: very likely.)”

The game comes out for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC later this year. Meanwhile check out our hands-on preview here.
