Ghost Recon Wildlands Gets Splinter Cell Themed Teaser for First Special Operation This Year

Please be leading up to something.

We don’t know when Ubisoft’s beloved Splinter Cell series might return (hopefully an announcement is coming this E3!)—but for now, Ubisoft has managed to grab the attention of every Splinter Cell fan in the world thanks to an amazing bit of fan service.

As you might remember, Ghost Recon: Wildlands was due to get four free Special Operations updates this year. The first of these will be called The Call, and today, Ubisoft released a teaser trailer for it—and this teaser trailer has major Splinter Cell vibes, going as far as to hint at Michael Ironside returning as Sam Fisher for this bit of content!

Assuming The Call is what Ubisoft is teasing it will be, then I imagine a lot of Splinter Cell fans will be grabbing themselves a copy of Wildlands as well. Let’s just hope this is building up to a new Splinter Cell game announcement, too.
