Ghost Recon Wildlands Will Be Free to Play This Weekend

Time to jump in, if you haven’t already.

Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands, released last year, was one of the more successful games launched in a year full of successful games. A lot of this probably had something to do with the excellent post launch support Ubisoft gave it, which led to it having a far longer tail at retail than most games manage.

Now, it looks like Ubisoft wants to give it a second wind, as far as user adoption goes. They’re going to be making the game free to play for everyone this weekend on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Two new editions, the Year 2 Gold Edition and the Ultimate Edition (which include all Year 2 content, and all content, respectively) will also be available, while select merchandise for the game will also be available for as much as 75% off.

So really, if you’ve ever been interested in the game, and just never had the chance to get around to it, now is a great time to try and jump in and see what you think. Wildlands is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
