Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime Gets a Release Date & a New Trailer

Posted By | On 09th, Mar. 2011

Did you enjoy Atari’s Ghostbusters: The Video Game for consoles, because I did and the fun doesn’t end there.  Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime will be released as a 4 player co-op game very similar from the looks of it to the retail game previously released.  Let’s just hope it doesn’t take Atari a full year to patch the game if needed… I am not joking. Ghostbusters: The Video Game was released with Achievements/Trophies that were unattainable and it took Atari a freaking year to patch it.. and then people still could not get Achievements/Trophies if that had already done the required task after the patch.. but let’s just look forward from now on.

Anyway, I am looking forward to this game as a fan of the films and of course everyone loves co-op, now the game finally has a release date.. well for some platforms.  For PC the game will be available on March 23rd, Playstation 3 will get it on March 22nd while the Xbox 360 date is still pending but I am sure not far behind if not the same day as the Playstation 3 release date.  No price has been set but since it will be an arcade game, I am guessing that it will be around $10.00 or so.  Multiplayer trailer is below and those streams are crossing baby!  Ok maybe I’m a little too excited.
