The next few months are going to be packed full of major new RPG releases, from Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth and Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth to Persona 3 Reload and Dragon’s Dogma 2. Another that has been generating a fair bit of buzz in the lead-up to its release is Cygames’ long-awaited Granblue Fantasy: Relink.
Last month, Cygames confirmed that a demo for the action RPG would be releasing for PS5 and PS4 sometime in January, and it seems the exact date it’ll come out has been leaked. As spotted and shared by Gematsu’s Sal Romano on ResetEra, prominent AV9G PlayStation leaker Diandong Langke Lu Xun recently shared an image that suggests Granblue Fantasy: Relink’s demo will launch on January 12.
That date seems pretty likely, given that the game itself is set to launch not long afterward, and the fact that a showcase is set for January 11, which is where the demo’s date could be officially announced. Either way, we’ll know more soon enough, so stay tuned.
Granblue Fantasy: Relink will launch on February 1 for PS5, PS4, and PC. Cygames recently announced that the game had gone gold.
