Grand Theft Auto 5: Last Vs. Current Gen 1080p Video Comparison Shows Improved Vistas & Animations

This is how remasters should be developed.

Posted By | On 15th, Sep. 2014

Last week was pretty important for Grand Theft Auto 5 fans. Rockstar finally confirmed the release dates for the PS4, Xbox One and PC versions of the title along with a brand new trailer. The new trailer, as expected, showcased improved graphical effects and texture resolution.

So during the weekend, our video editor was busy clipping and editing shots from the trailer and comparing it to the last generation version. And  the comparison came out real nice and it shows that Rockstar have done an incredible job in not only increasing the graphical fidelity but they also managed to introduce new character animations. However you guys are the ultimate judge so check it out above and let us know whether the differences you see between the last and current gen versions are enough for you to upgrade to the remastered edition.

Grand Theft Auto 5 will launch on current gen consoles in November and then in January 2015 for the PC. For more on the game check out our review of the game here or the hub page here. Stay tuned for more news and updates for Grand Theft Auto V.
