Grand Theft Auto 5 Mod Totally Converts San Andreas on PC

Ever wanted to play San Andreas in a GTA 5-like world? Now's your chance.

It won’t be long before we’re able to play Grand Theft Auto 5 on the PS4 and Xbox One, since the current gen versions of the game will be out in November. However, for PC gamers who have to wait until January 2015 for their fix of new-age GTA, it’s still a long agonizing wait.

Fortunately, there’s a remedy for the same (sort of). One fan recently created a mod for Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas which converts the entire game into Grand Theft Auto 5 on the PC. It’s interesting because it takes many of the core concepts of San Andreas and attempts to fit them into a GTA 5-like world. It may not be the prettiest result but from a gameplay perspective, it’s a mammoth effort that comes off looking surprisingly good for a game this old.

Grand Theft Auto 5 won’t be long now but you can explore the above mod in meantime. What are your thoughts on it? Let us know in the comments.
