Since the release of GTA V on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 there have been wants and rumors of a PC release for arguably what has been the most successful game of all time. Well, as of this Friday, that want is ‘probably’ going to turn into a reality, as the PC version of GTA V will be fully available for pre-order.

Oddly enough, however, the only retailer who is taking PC pre orders is in Sweeden, and there are no reports of pre-orders, or even really of a PC release anywhere in the UK. However, with an official announcement from an established retailer, it’s not difficult to piece together that we should be hearing an official statement from Rockstar’s distribution department some time in the next few days.

We’re unsure why Rockstar games has been keeping the PC release of GTA V under raps for so long. Probably because they don’t want to distract from console sales. It’s been statistically shown that when games release on PC after they release on console there is a higher instance of repurchasing from gamers. Maybe that’s their game here.
