Grand Theft Auto 5 Story DLC Was Announced More Than Two Year Ago, Still Nowhere To Be Seen

It seems as though the company wants us to forget.

With the recent announcement that there is going to be some new updates coming in the near future for GTA Online, it seems time to once again remind our faithful readers that Rockstar is apparently still ignoring something they announced several years ago. It was more than two years ago that Grand Theft Auto 5 was going to be getting some story DLC but so far the company hasn’t really come close to actually fulfilling their promise.

For those who think we might have been taking a bit too much from a throwaway statement made by the Rockstar, check out the quote “GTAV Story Mode Updates. For those ready to jump back into the story of Grand Theft Auto V, we have big plans for substantial additions in 2014 continuing Michael, Franklin and Trevor’s action, mayhem and unexpected adventures in Southern San Andreas.”

And yet, there hasn’t been any kind of real story DLC since that announcement. Rockstar has gone so far as to try and claim every now and then they never even made that comment. Since those words, there have even been hints that made it seem as though this new DLC was on the way. So far, the company hasn’t come through. We’ll have to wait and see for a few more months to see if the company is going to finally give what they offered years ago.
