According to the official GTA V website, the official trailer for the much anticipated GTA V will drop today. An official drop time has yet to be announced.

GTA V has already been the source of much controversy; with Internet ‘trolls’ crafting faux videos of scenes and game play spoilers and releasing them onto video sites such as YouTube.

Once these videos spread to gaming communities and forums, there is generally an outcry for validation so large that the game developers or publishers themselves are forced to step in and comment on the situation. Such is the case for all highly anticipated games, as we have seen for Half Life 3 for years now.

The official release for GTA V is schedule for September 17th, 2013 aacross PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. If the past is any indication of the future, we will also likely see releases across other platforms such as PC, Mac, and mobile, with DLC avaiaable for all releases.
