Robin
There are different types of Robin in the DC universe as many great men took up the mantle to be the Dark Knight’s sidekick. Robin is the position of Batman’s sidekick and crime fighting partner, a teenage vigilante who patrols Gotham City armed with intensive martial arts abilities and a number of high-tech gadgets. There have been five as members of the Batman Family in regular continuity. The original Robin was Dick Grayson. But one of the more tragic Robins who is worth mentioning was Jason Todd who was an orphan and a rebel of sorts, until Batman took him in and trained him. Jason was murdered by the Joker, a tragedy and failure that haunted Batman for many years.
