Some good stuff coming up.

Grid Autosport just launched, and now it’s time to see what kind of post launch support in the form of DLC it will be receiving. Just in case you were worried that the DLC will be exploitative like it has been for so many racing games recently, you don’t need to worry. It doesn’t seem to be all that bad, according to their plans for DLC that Codemasters detailed on their blog.

Three Car Packs will be released, as will three separate expansions, each of which will be focusing on a theme, and each bringing with it a new single-player championship alongside new tracks, routes and cars. All of this DLC is apparently due out before October 2014, and will be available via a Season Pass on the PS3 and PC, although not on the Xbox 360.

Meanwhile, Codemasters is also working on patches to add new features and peripheral support to the game, so it sounds like it is going to be well supported at least for the foreseeable future.
