GTA 5: Rockstar heads to India via Technicolor, retailers expecting game in March 2013

Positive news for the Indian gaming industry.

Technicolor which is a France-based company has collaborated with Rockstar Games–the makers of GTA series. They have expanded the team at their facility in Bangalore by bringing in a set of dedicated guys whose job is to purely work on Rockstar’s AAA titles (all of them).

Technicolor had set up the studio in Bangalore few years ago and the team there have worked on various projects before. The team is supposed to be highly qualified and the best that the region has to offer.

The game is supposed to hit the selves on March 29 2013 according to an unnamed retailer who posted on the GTA forums.

“Where I work (A games retailer, will not disclose names.) the P.O.S system has updated the release date of GTA:V to 29th March 2013 the same as a U.K retailer overseas (All over google.). Now I’m not saying this is the legitimate release date but this could possibly be an insight into when we may see this game up on the shelves,” Rapter posted in GTAForums.

Take it what you will, but the game has to certainly release in 2013, because it’s been 4 years already.
