GTA 5: Rockstar San Diego collaborating with Rockstar North

Posted By | On 30th, May. 2012

The CV of an ex-Rockstar employee named Jonathan G has revealed that he had worked on Grand Theft Auto 5 at Rockstar San Diego.

Rockstar San Diego was the studio that worked on Red Dead Redemption which was released in 2010, and was met with great critical and commercial success. Why we feel there is a collaboration is because currently only Rockstar North is listed as the developer of the game.

It could be that they want to release the game as soon as possible, and are seeking help from various Rockstar Studios. Recently, the excellent Max Payne 3 was developed by Rockstar Vancouver.

Grand Theft Auto 5 does not have a release date and platforms for the game aren’t announced either, but we think they should be revealed soon. Rockstar San Diego was also rumoured to be hiring for a new open world game which could very well be a sequel for Red Dead Redemption.

Tell us what you think in the comments section below.

Thanks, VG247.
