Rockstar is bringing a Mario Kart/Sonic All Stars inspired racing game mode to its ever growing GTA Online, called Transform Races. As we have discussed previously, Transform Races include the player racing through the air, sea, and land in wacky settings. The races will also have warps to teleport participating players to completely different parts of the map mid-race, to add to the mayhem.
Basically, it sounds like a GTA twist to Mario Kart. And today, Rockstar has released a brand new trailer to showcase more of it, which you can see for yourself below. I’m not necessarily the hugest fan of GTA Online, but I have to admit, this looks fun. Then again, I am a fan of Mario Kart and its ilk…
GTA Online, of course, is Rockstar’s free to play GTA multiplayer action game, that is available with GTA5. It is available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The Transform Races mode will be added to the game next week.
