GTA 5 PC

Mario. Pokemon. And now Grand Theft Auto. Rockstar’s open world crime saga has become only the third games franchise ever to breach the 200 million worldwide sales mark- and in the process, the series has also become the third highest selling games franchise of all time worldwide, behind only Nintendo’s Mario and Pokemon.

This news comes to us from a form 8-K Take-Two filed with the SEC this week. In that very same form, we also got an update for the worldwide sales figures for GTA 5, which now stand at 54 million units worldwide. This makes the game the single highest selling non bundled release of all time, overtaking the previous champion, Mario Kart Wii. While technically, Minecraft and Wii Sports are both still ahead of GTA 5, they are benefitted by lower priced and free downloads, and console bundles, respectively.

GTA 5 is available on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC right now.
